I have been invited to my godson's son's baptism. So I've combined the Monday challenges for that occasion. CAS431 was to create a background. I used TLC640 method of swiping a credit card dipped in ink onto the paper. I did the blue first and made an oval mask. But it looked uneven to me since the entire paper is not colored. So for the pink I covered the whole piece and cut a separate oval to stamp on.
I'm hedging my bets, my cousin is due any day and the baby gender will be a surprise, so I'm ready come what may!!

Well, I wouldn't have noticed about the oval not being even in the blue ones unless you had said it. Ha, I guess the slightly less finished look suits a boy. I really like all the different shades of colour you used on each one to give such depth.

Lovely inspired cards using the card swipe technique! I think I like the look of the blue ones best as far as the open area goes - but both are wonderful new baby/baptism cards!
