What better way to spend my rainy holiday than catching up on my cards? Also planning to clean out my craft room.
My cousin's step-daughter is graduating from high school next week. Pretty much my whole family has graduated from Apponequet High School (Apponequet, Fair Apponequet, all hail to the white and blue!).
I had fun with Karen's credit card technique to make the background that Kia challenged us to do. I did my swiping on slightly glossy paper with Spectrum Aqua ink and it seemed to work pretty well. Then I added in some white Distress paint.

Great mixture of ink & paint! ( I actually wondered about adding my lighter color in paint but will leave that for another day.) I like the little pop of red on the books to break up teh blue & white.
