For Lisa's fun WTUI challenge to mark National Wine Day, you'll be able to find it HERE.
I had very few suitable stamps, but I'm always happy to pull this one out - in fact, I have this one in woodmount and in the smaller version where he is the French Hen in the PB 12 Days of Christmas set. This is the larger wood-mounted one, stamped on white card and coloured with Inktense pencils, and a little sponging on the background.
For the front, I used Yupo paper with distress inks and some rubbing alcohol to blend them a little. Then I stamped the script stamp over it, and cut the aperture.
The ivy leaves stand in well for a vine - I used alcohol inks on photo paper to cut them. For a few at the bottom of the card, I edged them with a Sharpie and then dipped a Q-tip in alcohol to blend the edges in a bit. The grapes are just circles punched from a scrap of paper sponged with dusty concord, shaped with a stylus before adding. I stamped the sentiment on a trimmed-off strip of the Yupo, and popped it up on foam.
I used a gold marker all round the edges of the main panel. It felt a little tacky, maybe it wasn't going to dry properly on the Yupo? So I added Crackle Accents over it. This panel is popped up on foam above the little French hen.

I love this fun image it works so perfect for the challenge. You are right the ivy leaves work very well. The colors are so vibrant on this card and the script is wonderful. Just last weekend I went to our local liquor store and picked up a new bottle of wine. I sent a picture to my sister as she is my partner in crime for finishing off a bottle when I want to open a bottle. She told me to enjoy the bottle. I laughed, called her silly and said I was stocking up for the next girls night when she comes over. It is always great to have her come for a girls night so I can open a bottle that I would not be able to finish off myself. National Wine day is a great excuse for a girls night. Giggles!!! Thank you for creating such a wonderful sample for the challenge.

Sabrina, your bg, grapes and leaves are gorgeous! I haven't tried using Yupo or photo paper with alcohol inks, your results are inspiring! The French hen is adorable as the centerpiece. Love your card.
