I titled this WILD POPPIES because with no help from me any more, I have poppies that bloom each year despite total neglect. They sprout from a barrel I have not really used for years....except to enjoy these poppies that pop with their RED beauty all on their own.
I used a PB background stamp too create this. Using my Misti I kept layering the colors to make them more vibrant.. Not sure what I would do without m Misti.
thanks for looking.

You sound like my kind of gardener! ". . . total neglect. . . ." That's me! Your poppies are lovely. The MISTI sure makes layering colors easier. I love your card!

How wonderful to have bright red poppies just pop up every year, Joanne. Must be a bright spot in your yard. From past experience, I know they are not good as cut flowers, but they bring such a "dash" to one's landscape. Enjoy them!! Your card is beautiful in its design...I like the random stamping...carefree as your poppies.

A beauty, Joanne. And, how fortunate you have those wonderful poppies without a drop of sweat caring for them. I planted poppies once and they did nothing. I think they were in a spot that stayed too wet and they probably rotted. Like you, I don't know what I ever did without my MISTI. You sure got great color with yours.

Bright and beautiful. How wonderful that you do not have to do a thing to enjoy your poppies. This is a gorgeous birthday card with the stitched banner sentiment.
