Carla's challenge to us today is kid's and pets. Sure I could have gone with a cute little dog or cat, but then I found this fun digi from Sassy Cheryl. She does have a lot of great ones for this challenge. I liked that I could make sort of mixture of femininity and masculinity for this card by using the swampy DP for the BG and adding pops of pink and glitter. I hope this girl has found her prince!
Of course, I didn't have a frog as a pet when I was a kid. The first pet I can remember having was a parakeet. And what does a kid in Massachusetts in the 80s name her parakeet? Larry Bird, of course!

cute and funny card a frog as a pet...noway!!! I love them on a card and as decoration but not in real life to kiss yeark....or should I try maybe there would appear a Prince....
Such a cute image and the look on the frog's face is priceless. My brothers had frogs as pets that they would enter in the jumping contest at the fair so this brought back memories.

You've got a winning combination with the paper and that cute image! Love the expression on the frog's face. My kids tried to have frogs as pets. I'm sure it's a great surprise that the answer was a very firm no! Thanks for playing in the challenge and treating us to your fun card.

The background paper is really great. And, actually we did have a pet frog for a short while...I have a vague memory of one in a large aquarium-type tank and my dad trying to catch enough flies to feed it, but I think in the end he just let it out in the garden. Maybe we grew it from a tadpole...I love that gold glitter!!

How cute! Love that little froggie! And thanks for the cute story about your parakeet named Larry Bird! My dad named one of our many dogs Richie Ashburn for an outfielder on the Philadelphia Phillies.
