For today's Colors: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Cucumber Crush. Dessert: Spring
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
This will be for my SIL's 50th birthday, but I just couldn't get a sentiment on the front, and I really did try. I used blender pens and ink pads to color my image, sponging the edges and somewhat inside. I added wink of stella to the flower centers. The decorative circle is popped up, the yellow panel is embossed. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

This is so sweet, Roberta! Lovely spring scene and I just want to jump in that chair and start rocking.... And I know what you mean about a sentiment - sometimes it just doesn't work on the outside!

Sometimes sentiments are best left for the inside. Here the card receiver can enjoy the beautiful vignette of your circular panel, Roberta. Your SIL is sure to treasure this card made especially for her.

I just love that stamped image and have for a long time. This is such a sweet relaxing card; I'm sure your sil will love it. I don't believe that you always have to have a sentiment on the front of your card - sometimes it just interferes. Have you looked at the Teeny Tiny Wishes set from SU? It has 24 small sentiments that you can use in your word punch. I use them quite often. It doesn't take away from your image and requires little space. :>)
