 | | As soon as I saw this color challenge, I knew I wanted to watercolor with all of these shades. The initial background color was applied using my #foolproofwatercolor technique, which is basically applying inks with a wet baby wipe. Then I embossed the flower with Gold embossing powder. I didn't worry too much about staying in the lines when I painted it, just let the color flow where it wanted to go. I cut the word using a die from Sunshine Wishes. 4 layers of watercolor paper, one layer of Old Olive. I colored the Old Olive layer with Clear Wink of Stella. Before layering the card layers, I used my wet brush to soften the edges of the top layer and ran the edge of my scissors along it to distress that layer. |
