Fun challenge from Ky today. I was sure I was going to fail at this. I've never done any all over stamping with Versa Mark, but my Precision Press (like a MISTI) made it really easy. I started off just going direct to paper with Shabby Shutters, then Pear Tart, Rosebud, and finally Festive Berries in sort of a plaid pattern. Then I stamped with my newest stamp set and got nervous that the stamp was too detailed and wasn't going to emboss well. This really was a completely nerve-wracking card--the whole time! Then I don't have archival ink, but I sponged on some Black Soot and it actually turned out pretty great. My mom was watching me the whole time and she kept telling me "it's too dark" and "it's kind of boring". But once I finished with the sentiment and flower embellishment, even she admitted that it's a pretty cool card. Phew! It was tough on us. I don't generally work in dark colors.

I'm so proud you stuck with it and tried something out of your comfort zone. You really hit it big, too! Love the punch of colors! Thanks so much for playing!
