I love the sample card from the challenge and would like to make a card like that, but I don't got the material to make this, so I remembered a technique from school to use wax crayons and black paint, but instead of the black paint I used ink and of course I couldn't stamp so I used a needle to design and to write, before the ink completely dries the butterfly and the leave are dies which I placed on the paper and traced around with the needle then finished with some doodling, I punched the butterflies out of the left over from the glossy paper, I hope this is acceptable for the challenge if not I can remove

Just for information, I DID NOT stitch on this card I used a needle to write and to draw here is no embroidery, no honors for something I didn't do,and I'm not very proud with this card but I wanted to try...

I remember doing that crayon and ink etching thing in elementary school art class! How awesome that you remembered that and made your card reflecting that technique! I like your card very much and you get extra points for being so creative with what you have on hand!

You will *never* be removed from a challenge! I love your entry because it's not only beautiful, but it's a great reminder that we should think farther and harder sometimes. Love that you chose the wax crayon - I was going to suggest that in the thread. Alas, I worked today and am just getting back around to seeing everything. Thanks so much for playing my challenge!
