For the Creative Crew sketch challenge, I flipped the sketch on its side. I chose a circle and popsicles as my shapes.
I stamped all these SWEET popsicles directly on the Powder Pink card base, three stamps for each popsicle. The sticks are all Crumb Cake, and then each popsicle is stamped once in the solid popsicle stamp and once for the stripes -- same color for the solid stamp and the stripes.
I was SURPRISED at how different the Powder Pink and Lemon-Lime Twist popsicles look on the card base versus the ones that are die cut, because the die cut ones are stamped on Whisper White. I almost went back and stamped the die cut ones again on Powder Pink cardstock, but I decided I liked having the different look on the die cut ones so they stand out a little more.
I put Wink of Stella all over the card base popsicles. For the die cut popsicles, I first went over the stripes with the Fine Tip Glue Pen, which really pulls the color out! Then between the stripes I used Wink of Stella.
Thanks for looking. I'd love to see what you do with the sketch!
Love how you switched up the sketch! I tend to get tunnel vision and stuck with the original. That paper design you created is pretty amazing too. Would never have guessed you stamped it. Looks totally like an SU! printed DSP!
