I LOVE flower pounding, but have not done it in awhile, so was very excited to see this challenge - until I tried to find some flowers. It's a bit too early in WI to find a lot of them. I found that daffodils are way too fat, but I did find some tiny violets and star flowers in the grass in the front yard. They gave it all, but only added a tiny bit of color to my paper. I stamped SU violets over the colored spot and am quite pleased with the outcome. SU Candy Dots are in their centers and I think they are sweet. Thanks for looking.

Carol - so pretty! I love the way you stamped outline flowers over the little violet stains. I was sure I saw violets from the car when we visited a woodland the other weekend - and was disappointed to see not a single one in the woods. Lucky you to have them in the yard.

Carol, I love this! I love the way you stamped the violets over the pounded colour. The white brads in the flower centres really finish this off nicely.
