The Fan club theme this month was Background Check. Each of my cards uses a different background technique. For this one, I added watercolour directly to a thick piece of clear plastic cut from a sturdy bag (freezer zipper bag). Spread the ink around so no large drops form (or they will fall off) and flip the plastic over on to your paper. manipulate the plastic to get the coverage you desire and repeat with various colours. If you prefer blending, add more colours when wet. If you don't, dry between layers. Adding layers also adds to the interest. Then I splattered on some white spray mist and more of the watercolour, drying between layers.
