This is for the Alphabet Challenge - letter Q. Double Challenge - Quiet
What better for a quiet time but a quilt to snuggle under?
For quite some time, I had wanted and searched for this lattice die and finally found it on eBay and at a reasonable price, too. Patience has its reward. I had seen many quilt cards made with this lattice. I was so excited to make one. It was amazing that the pink lattice die-cut fit effortlessly over the brown DSP. The flowers were spaced just right and the small white circles lined up perfectly with the lattice openings. After I adhered the lattice, it was dry embossed with hearts. Added a fun sentiment about the crazy quilt of life and friendship. I love quilts and quilt cards.
When life hands you scraps, make a quilt or if it's paper, make a quilt card. TFL

This is lovely Diane! What a neat moment of serendipity that the lattice worked perfectly with your brown dsp. Your quilt is beautifully framed and gives the appearance of being hung in a quilt show for our viewing pleasure. Great job!

What a gorgeous quilt card you have made here Diane for the letter Q alphabet challenge. I really love how you embossed this quilt piece for that extra somethin' somethin', and attaching this wonderful sentiment on a quilt block is fabulous. I enjoyed your story about this card immensely! Hugs! ~Karen.
