LOVE the rainbow theme in this fun birthday card here from our inspiration site this week.
On a piece of watercolor cs I swiped the inkpads across the cs in sections, then spritzed with water and let blend. After that dried a bit, I splattered the panel with white acrylic paint and a few of the rainbow colors for added interest and a confetti look. Then I spritzed the whole panel with shimmer spritz - it' so sparkly IRL! I die cut a rectangular piece from the middle and then used that smaller piece to die cut the "awesome" and the confetti. On a separate white smaller panel I stamped the sentiment, added the confetti and "awesome" and inlaid that into the opening in the rainbow panel. I felt like it needed some other definition, so then I used a narrow black marker to make the additional line inside the white panel and that did the trick! Matted the rainbow panel in black and assembled.

Gorgeous rainbow of colours - love the way it repeats on the focal panel and the background. Great idea to cut the rectangle for cutting your die cuts out of the background.
