The Way to Use it challenge this week, WT629 -That's What the Doctor Ordered- 3/31/17, was to make a get well card.
This is a cheery get well/thinking of you themed card that I made for a friend who is doing chemo for breast cancer. Since this is an ongoing challenge for her, I make a point of sending fun, upbeat thinking of you type cards to her in a regular basis.
This was a really fun, fast card to make. I used a large Memory Box cattail stamp for the grass/flower stems. The ink was applied to the rubber with markers - thumping style and then huffed on to rehydrate the ink before stamping.
The wavy banner tag is hand cut. After stamping the cool, fun looking wavy sentiment I discovered I didn't have a diecut that fit it. Horrors! I had to pull out the scissors and fake my own wavy tag, proving it can be done. Ha! I am the diecut queen, and if I could find a die to match these fun sentiments, I would have it.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my cheer/get well card!
