Today Jeanne's challenge is Flower Backgrounds. Perfect because I want to put some Mother's Day cards in the baskets for my friend's fundraisers.
All of our prayers are working because they've taken the dialysis machine out of her room and they sat her up for 30 minutes yesterday and she breathed on her own for 4 hours. She's still in surgery almost every other day where they have to take out more dead tissue--she's lost both legs from the knee down. My goodness she has such a long road ahead of her, but I'm very happy to hear that her body is beginning to heal and stabilize. Please continue to pray for her to get home to her beautiful family.
I wanted to use some flowers that I never use, so I went for this Flower Garden set. Although, I'm now realizing that I've only ever used this hydrangea stamp out of it. Next time I'm going to force myself to use a different flower from that set. I only have one "Happy Mother's Day" stamp and I had that stamped and masked off for a bordered sentiment, but then I decided I hated it and printed out the greeting instead.
