Since I couldn't make an early start on the MIX challenge and didn't want to miss out on some available stamping time, I used this cat image (stamped by misting with markers) which was on my desk from earlier in the week, and created a floral background inspired by Jeanne's F4A challenge.
I cut a square of white card and sponged it with my chalk ink pad, which was pretty dried out. Then I stamped the flower outlines in black and the solid leaves in green. Cut a circle aperture with a black insert and laid the cat behind it. Edged the panel with a black Sharpie and added it to a white base. Finished it off with a birthday sentiment stamped on a banner from Spellbinders.
There's another cat card and a few cat photos on my blog HERE.

What a beautiful and lovely card with this sweet Siamese cat, Sabrina! I used to have a beautiful and gentle Siamese cat whom I loved. She was so dear and didn't howl like some Siamese do. This image reminds me of her. Beautiful floral background too! Hugs!

The simple line image florals in the bg make your cat the star of the show - especilly with thie circular framing to spotlight him. Love the addition of the mini chop!
