The theme at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge is animal cards for kids. I've colored this cute little guy with Copic Markers, added some palm fronds from a hand punch, and made it a generic card by using the sentiment 'hello' from Label Love by Altenew. That way, the inside can be customized for whatever type of card they need - birthday, thank you, thinking of you.
Thanks for Looking. (Edited: oops - I noticed there's a smudge on this one; fixed after I took the picture.)
Here's a bit more information about this great cause:
Send A Smile 4 Kids is a charitable blog created for the purpose of collecting donated handmade cards to be distributed to children while they are inpatient at Children's Hospitals. Currently we are donating them to eight children's hospitals in the USA and to several hospitals in Canada through our sister Canadian chapter of SAS4Kids. On any given day, there are many children inpatient in these hospitals so we would love to receive as many cards as you can send to cheer them and their families. The kids may also use your cards as Thank You Notes to the nurses and doctors and to give to parents or relatives on special days like birthdays or Mothers or Fathers Day. Any cards appropriate for children are welcome including any holiday (not religious specific please except to the Illinois location) and happy any day cards.
