Everything on this card is reused from scraps (even the card base). I really enjoy helping the planet by reusing things, although it's hard for me to think of ways to do that outside of scrapbooking.
I was inspired by our inspiration site this week to use an old tea bag, but chose not to stamp on it. Instead, I die cut the trees from an old dryer sheet, and cut it to fit into the silk tea bag. It looked trapped, but yet one of the tree tops is pushing through. "Life always finds a way." (Do you remember what movie that was from? LOL)
I decided the sentiment should simply be "breathe" (the verb). I guess I've been feeling a bit trapped lately due to my sciatic nerve pain.....so this may be a way to release my emotions too. Art can be so expressive of how we feel....

Audrie, I've been praying for your pain issues. Your calligraphy is awesome! I've been watching Kristina Werner writings so this caught my eye immediately!

Audrie, I love your card; it's so creative! Enclosing the trees with the tea bag is fantastic art. I'm so sorry about your pain; I can relate! It certainly can get one down. I'll include you in my prayers!! Blessings!

The title caught my eye... how did something get trapped in a tea bag? Hmmm.
Then I read your creative process- you write like poetry, Audrie! And it's a pleasure to follow your written thoughts.
The card is altogether lovely. Warm colour, warm sentiment. Trees, living, we breathe out... trees take that in... they exhale and we breathe in... living... I love where your post has taken me in these few minutes. Many thanks for creating and sharing today!
Love those virtual hugs. Back at you!

What a fabulously intriguing site, Audrie! I have amassed tea bag strings with the little tags from Yogi tea because I like the little statements that are printed on them. Hoping I can find time to create. Grandson #4 is due any time, and I have been on standby with big brother!
Audrie, I just adore your beautiful card! You have such a lovely creative lens, and I am always appreciative of your time to share. Wishing you pain free days, starting yesterday! Prayers and hugs <3
