 | | This is my version of the March sketch card by Linda Callahan. I decided to go with a larger area. I used printer paper and a Layering Squares framelit to make a mask.
Cut both the Whisper White and printer paper (the thinner the better) at 3-3/4x5. Position a square framelit towards the top of the printer paper leaving an equal border around the top and two sides. Run it through the Big Shot. Shift the framelit down keeping an equal border around the bottom and two sides. Run it back through the Big shot.
Use a temporary adhesive like Dotto to gently adhere the printer paper to the whisper white. Add a strip of washi tape where you want the greeting to be.
Stamp the flower image randomly. I used my Stampin' Pierce Mat underneath the card stock to get a better image. Plus, I had to press a little harder at the edges of the printer paper to get a cleaner edge. This probably would have worked much better with masking paper, but I didn't have any.
Very carefully pull up the washi tape, remove the printer paper and finish up the card! |
