This card is for the Technique Lovers Challenge to make a shell by hand by dry embossing, great fun but I didn't find it as easy as I first thought.
It took my two goes to get it right, the first attempt I had the lines too close together.
The shell is too big on the card too but too late to change.
I'm happy with the sponging though and I like the colours. The sketch is for the current challenge over on CAS Colours & Sketches found here http://cascoloursandsketches.blogspo...bel/Challenges
There are a heap more photos on my blog with instructions found here; http://www.vitumaradadi.com/cards/cc...-youre-a-pearl
Cheers

This is beautiful!! I don't think the shell is too big at all. It is your main focal point. I love the pearl and your colors!! Great job for trying this technique.

Eek, I thought/hoped the uploading was fixed. Thanks for persevering AND adding such a gorgeous shell creation to the TLC gallery. I love the curl in the shell, the pearl and the sequins. And those gorgeous blues- definitely not the Irish Sea!!
