This is for Cathy's Sketch Challenge. The layout was perfect for this watering can full of tulips. I utilized the colors in the paper. I am having fun using up old papers and getting out retired stamp sets. I have plenty of each for springtime cards. The watering can was watercolored with Island Indigo which lightened up the color. I used Basic Gray and Smokey Slate to apply accents and make speckles on the can. Small silver pearl is at the base of the handle. The butterfly is Baja Breeze, a brighter blue. The tulips are Blushing Bride with Riding Hood Red close to the stem for a two-toned effect. The leaves were colored Pear Pizzazz with the Aqua Painter; after it dried, I went back over at the bottom with a Blender Pen to achieve a darker shade. On the sketch, for the two narrow #2 strips, I used one wide ribbon with a stripe down the middle. Two more pearls for the banner and some paper piercing. The main panel is up on Dimensionals. I truly enjoyed the sketch. Hope you get a chance to use it. TFL

What a lovely card this is Diane. I had to do a double take when I saw your card because I have this very stamp sitting on my table, and I had no idea how to use it! You have definitely inspired me my friend. You have colored this image to the 9's, and have made a very happy card my friend. Fun! ~Karen.
