I die cut a scalloped oval then cut that in half and scored to make the shells and sponged with vintage sepia.. Stamped the seahorse on scrap and fussy cut.
I used torn edge layering for the bg to simulate sand and white-capped water lapping at the shore. I had planned to stamp my sentiment right into the water but bobbled the stamp - hence the addition of the embossed bermuda bay paint chip (which I'm liking the more I look at it) I stamped the border from the Sun, Moon Stars set In Sepia onto the sand area - adhered the shells & horse with mounting tape and finished with some scattered pearls and stickles swirls.

I love the shape of your shells.....so gorgeous. The lapping water was a great idea, too. And, the seahorse is fabulous.

Ooh, clever you to use a scalloped die for the initial shape, it looks great! I'm loving all the beach cards - wouldn't it be fun if we could find pearls and sparkly swirls as well as shells in real life. The torn strips of blue are really effective, especially with the sentiment, ( a rescue that worked perfectly!!)and I always like a seahorse .

This is wonderful. Love your seahorse, but especially love what you have done with your beautiful seashells. Such a lovely display. The tearing of your background is perfect.
