Well...I love this image...just wish the stamp loved me as much, as it never comes out the way it should, no matter what paper or ink I use.. Anyway....it's CHOCOLATE, so what's not to like???

I like this stamp too. Have you tried going over this rubber stamp with a sanding block and then cleaning it and then inking it up and stamping? Just read that is what we one person does with new rubber stamps, but it might help with older ones too?

Yes, I have, but thank you for suggesting it for others. I was a member of the Stampsmith group for years, and religiously followed all the suggestions for the "photo image" stamps (which is why I used the King James card stock). This particular image I can only get a decent print out of it one of about 50+ tries, even after sanding it......so you can understand why I don't use it too often LOL...but I do love it!
Some of the other suggestions for this kind of stamp are to use a brayer (tried, I rejected all of those attempts), let the stamp sit on the paper longer than usual to let the ink sit properly (nope), everyone has their own ink they prefer, but you just have to try till you find one that works, use a stamp press (didn't bother for this one, and it only works sometimes). The funny thing is, the area that looks like a splotch on the cat's shoulder? That's actually how it's supposed to look...really! LOL
Thanks again for your feedback, I do appreciate it!
