Painted a sheet of watercolor paper with Brusho Brilliant Red; die cut Tattered Lace: Lauren Out For A Stroll from that paper and also from Neenah paper (twice); traced the skirt on another section of the watercolored paper to use as an underlay and covered it with Wink of Stella; used the Nuvo pens to color the skin, purse, shoes, and scarf on 1 of the die cuts; used the Deco Pen (clear) to highlight the shoes and purse; snipped the dress, hat, and glove from the watercolor die cut; snipped the shoes, purse, arms, legs, back/face/hair from the colored-in die cut; used the 2nd Neenah die cut as a base and glued all the pieces back together like a puzzle. Whew! Watercolored the Fountain Terrace stamp (free-handed the grass and bricks); brushed Wink of Stella around the edges of the black cardstock mat. Used Scor-tape to mount the layers and 3M Foam tape to pop up Lauren.

Hi. Thanks for putting me on your favourites of the week list. This led me to you gallery & I just wanted to say your cards are lovely especially this one & how you've done the lady (not to mention the lovely background). That much cutting out & layering must have taken you ages but well worth the effort, it's stunning.
