It always such fun to see the Pantone colors each year...I am feeling back to the '70's trend here. Thanks Dawn for giving us this Color Combo today. You'll have to trust me that my mermaid is 'Greenery'. Photographing at 11:57PM is tricky. As it was, I think I got 5 of the colors in here.

It's a simple card...I had a Brusho panel which I thought would work good for the water in the RBBB swimming pool. Stamped the pool once directly to the cardstock, paper pieced the watercolored Brusho into the pool...inked the unknown rubber mermaid onto a lighter weight cs, embossed her and then used Copics on her hair. Her scales are greenery and a shimmery gold. I fussy cut her as well.

The Hampton Art Stamp sentiment was placed on the diving board. 'The Sea is calling and I must go'

It'll be hit and miss for me this season. My bike is calling and I must go. Not that I could possibly be as
dainty as that pretty mermaid!

Have a marvelous weekend all. And thanks for stopping by.

What a quirky and oh so creative card! That paper pieced pool is so pretty and inviting that your mermaid simply couldn't resist but....alas the sea is calling ....I totally understand and I might join her (although in my neck of the woods it would be a lake). Super card Susan!

I totally understand the photo problem. I always blame the camera. Your mermaid may have gotten stuck in the sand on the shore on her way to the pool. Anyhow, it's cute as ever and your story is always great.

Gosh, I love it Susan. We've had ducks, mice, squirrels, raccoons, voles, and frogs in our pool, but never a mermaid. Could she come here???
