First I stamped & embossed the rose - watercolored & fussy cut. The saying was embossed with gold glory and framed with more gold. I cut the side rectangle element from more gold then mounted the rose over them - I glued the stem flat to the card as it was pretty delicate but did raise the flower slightly with mounting tape. The pearlized pink paper was not quite the right shade so I touched it up with a bit of watercolor too and finished with the pale green gem.

I love the way you have the long-stemmed rose on the gold panels, and the sentiment is perfect for the card and sketch!!

Stunning, Linda! Your rose is so lovely and complemented perfectly by the gold. I really love your choice of colors and clever design using this sketch!

Pink, gold, and sage green make a gorgeous combination! That is one beautiful rose and you have coloured it magnificently! Great adaptation of the sketch. I love it!

Such a lovely card! You fussy-cut the rose so well--you must have very steady hands!!
