Congratulations, Joyce Ann, on becoming this week's featured stamper. It took me a while to go through your gallery - had to stop and admire a number of scrap book pages, as well as cards. I narrowed my selection down to this pretty CAS creation.
Die cut a black mat. Die cut, embossed and masked the edges of the white cardstock.
Stamped the flower and then the leaf onto masking paper and cut them out.
Using Memento black, I stamped the flower, onto the white cardstock, masked it, stamped the leaf and masked that.
Sponged the left side/corner with blue. Removed the leaf mask and stamped it again with VersaMark. Removed the flower mask and stamped again with VersaMark.
Stamped the sentiment. Assembled and added three crystals.
Kept the same basic layout/design. Used a 5 petal flower and leaf as Joyce Ann did, but stamped rather than die cut. Changed the orientation, colors and sentiment. Used a mat, rather than dry embossing, for framing and gems in place of dazzle jewels.
I hope your enjoy your week in the spotlight, `Annie Panda'!

Gorgeous and elegant card, Priscilla. So much effort (I am honored you took this time to case one of my cards too) to create beauty. The sponged shades of blue are so soft, really makes the white flower stand out. Ingenious idea you have with the masking. The three embellishments are perfectly keeping with the clean beauty of the image and sentiment. So inspirational.
