I don't have much use for Valentine's cards as DH is the Valentine equivalent of the Grinch...but I had great fun making this for the Art Neko blog. Full details are on the blog HERE.
I used TLC438 to create the background, with some hearts and arrows cut from a cereal box, foil tape and black paint.
The heart was stamped in black, embossed and rubbed with metallic rub-ons. I popped up one of hte little hearts, shaped the ladybug and added one extra arrow, coated in silver EP and then given a sprinkle with other metallic powders.
The little "Love" note is embossed with Taylored Expressions Weathered ef, and sponged, then popped up on foam. I added to the distressing by spattering it with some Inktense pencils and a wet brush.

You are so good at doing a distressed look! Beautiful BG and those added elements are so nicely balanced!

Awww! Bummer about the grinch!!! My hubs doesn't usually do anything either but it's my fault because I told him I like to get things on sale the day after! I don't usually make him a valentine either! I love your metallic background! So cool!!!

This is awesome, Sabrina, grinch notwithstanding! The background is fantastic, and the design elements you added are perfect!
