For this week's CAS challenge - to pick an old card from your gallery with a Valentine/Heart theme and redo it. So here's my inspiration from 2008 - Ellie Love by Ruby-dooby-doo at Splitcoaststampers
Bit of a difference eh?
I always think a bit of stencilling on the background makes it look like there's more effort has gone into it than in reality!
My Ellie is an oldie from High Hopes - coloured with watercolour pencils, sparkle added to the ribbon and balloon, and clear gloss to her nails. Balloon is another oldie from Stampin Up

So cute! Ellie looks sad because the party is over. Love the heart-shaped balloon, the brick stenciling and the water drops. The nail polish is fun. Great card! TFS

Fabulous! Love that you went so far back for your original! Completely agree that a little stenciling goes a long way. I think you know I am a big fan of your current style!
