For Lydia's MIX210 Glue Stick Resist challenge. Lucky I just bought a mixed pack of glues including a glue stick just a couple of weeks ago! I drew swirls and a few lines, sponged with wilted violet when dry and then used a baby wipe to lift the colour. Then I sprinkled on some Brusho powder in violet and spritzed.
I cut the piece up and laid it onto the base layer, and then added some sequins cut from shimmer paper and stars cut from gold card.
The verse was stamped on white card, matted on purple with distressed edges and finished with an edging of Stickles, as was the base layer. I also added some little Stickles dots (Diamond) on the base layer.
Not really my colours, but I badly need to up my stash of Scripture cards so I checked out the current ODBD challenge, which turned out to be a colour challenge. I did my best with it, colour challenges are my Achilles heel.

Sabrina, they may not be your colors, but the card is fantastic! Your background is amazing, and you matched it to the verse beautifully. Wonderful design!

Purple in any shade is MY color ( though why I don't use it more often on cards is a conundrum) anyway... this is beautiful! Your resist really came out well and the scattered stars & sequins are the icing on the proverbal cake.

I love the purple and the green together!! I also like how you did the circles. I am wondering if I did the challenge wrong because of the way I used the stencil. Maybe we were supposed to do free hand and create our own designs. I guess it's all good. Your sequins blend in really nice also.
