TLC623 - totebag! Made my totebag/purse for my granddaughters birthday coming up next month. See loves purple and pink together or separate!!
For the totebag body I used two pieces that were 8 1/2" by 11". I didn't have the shade of purple in a 12", it works well, centered the pieces with the bottom and glued them down. Around the bottom and the top, I took an easy way using washing tape!
For the washi tape flowers, I matched up the tape and placed it on white cs. Then punched out my flowers! So cool to get the same look of the tape on flowers! Punched, sponged, and layered my flowers added light green dp branches behind them.
Doubled the MS butterflies to get a 3D look and added gems to their bodies.
AOC17JAN - new stamp and new washi tape for my tote and card!!
Also did a matching CAS card for today's CAS414 challenge using the same colors, stamp, and washi tape. TFL!

Oh my goodness, this is the most darling tote bag and card ever! Your granddaughter is just going to flip when she sees this is for her. I love how you used washi tape to make these gorgeous flowers! Hugs! ~Karen.

Ann, this is absolutely adorable! Thanks for the tip on the flowers, too - I might have some tape that would look good like that. Your granddaughter will just love this, couldn't be sweeter.

This is adorable and like your granddaughter, I Love a combination of pinks & purples . . . The Washi tape make a wonderful banding and the bunnies peekingout from behind the flowers are precious.
