This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge. Carolyn / SnowmanQueen's gallery is awesome. I selected this Christmas card because I loved the elements she used for this design and I thought it might work well for my bear image. ( I have a lot of these bears pre-stamped from a project for long ago. )
From Carolyn's card: I changed the image, but not the occasion. Both are in ovals, except I did not mat mine. I used the brick wall EF like Carolyn did and I matted it on Handsome Hunter. I raised the horizontal strip up higher on the card. I stamped on the cardstock and did not distress the edges; and used plaid ribbon & bow instead of burlap ribbon. Same type colors, but different shades. Added a die-cut sentiment, but different one. Wonderful inspiration! I will link this card also for the Christmas Card Challenge for April - use a critter. Thanks for sharing your cards Carolyn! TFL

I love how you built a mantle and fireplace behind your stocking filled with bear! Beautiful take on the FS's card. I love that image and good on you for building up your Christmas card stash!

What an adorable card this is. Your image looks old fashioned. You even made a mantle to hang your stocking. Very clever idea!

Wow! What a gorgeous card you have made based on Carolyn's beautiful inspiration card. I would never have been able to substitute this stocking bear image instead of Carolyn's bird image so I am very impressed by that. I love how you used the brick ef and the woodgrain strip to hang your stocking by. Hugs! ~Karen.
