This is for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Australia Day. Represent something from downunder. There are both marine and land turtles found there. I embossed my turtle and watercolored him with various greens and die-cut in stitched square. The background is watercolor paper. I tried Susie Australia's technique of smashing distress ink pads onto foil, spraying generous water, painting on paper with foam brush. I did that with yellow and blue together and got some green. After it dried, I prepared more blue and turned my paper over onto the ink. Interesting effect. Computer printed a well-used Australian phrase, die-cut into a banner and layered with two more for a wave effect. Mr. Turtle has no worries; he's just very laid back. LOL Fun challenge. TFL

Diane this is a hoot and I love everything about it. The sentiment is perfect for your little upside down turtle and the Aussie challenge. Your background looks FABULOUS!!! I use a foam blending tool (or cheap latex type makeup sponge), the effect you achieved with the foam brush looks brilliant, can't wait to give it a try.

Fantastic Wavy banner for the sentiment! I love your distress ink background as well. Laid back or not, that turtle just looks uncomfortable to me. lol But I'm sure he will be upright soon enough!
