This is for the WT620 challenge to celebrate Australia. I decided to go with a kangaroo gazing at a sunrise. I'm not sure I like the Distress paper, it doesn't seem to blend well. Anyway, blended three shades of yellow and reds for the sunrise over a mask of round post-it done with a circle punch. Then I tore a piece of paper and used it as a guide for the landscape using two shades of brown and black at the very bottom. Mr. Kangaroo was clip-art from the web, and I fussy cut him out and sprayed him with shimmer and then colored him with black when it dried. The leaf is a velvety paper leaf left from my reception in the fall, and I wrapped it with twine and mounted both the kangaroo and the top mat on the yellow with dimensionals. Thanks so much for looking. This was an enjoyable challenge.

What a beautiful sunrise, and a very handsome Mr Kangaroo on his shimmery black silhouette. The colours in your leftover leaf are perfect with this. And, your tree reminds me of the Wollemi pine which was thought to be extinct in Australia but then a few specimens were found and we have one grown from seed in the Botanic Gardens here. It's still quite small but I imagine them looking like this in their natural habitat.

Wow, I think your blended sunset is amazing. Well done on the sparkly kangaroo and adding the leaf from your reception. It gives it a very special touch.
