Hi all, running very late and then had trouble uploading however have managed now.
We have been away down the coast for my babies 39th birthday so had time to think about the card but wasn't able to do it until I got home.
Thought of this as a combination for both challenges.
First of all I found the ice cube image on google clip art printed it off on an ordinary piece of paper so that I had a guide then using the acetate scribble and smack technique created the background, I used up three good pieces of blending card before I realised this wasn't going to work (most I have wasted in my whole card making career)
I then got out my light box and using the image under a piece of blending paper I put a watercolour wash around the image using the outline of the image as a guide once I had done that and let it dry a bit I printed the image onto the background and there you have it, wrapped some grey cotton around the top attaching a little heart and put some insert paper in the card that also acted as an anchor for the cotton.
This silly little card is going to be DH's valentine card, only he would appreciate it ha ha.
Cheers
Marg
