My mojo has been missing of late...I think Sabrina had mentioned the same..Not sure why...could be that after the holiday lull, or the fact that I made about 15 sample cards for last month's VSN...whatever... I was really inspired today by the stamp carving challenge. I've carved my own stamps before and wanted to do it again. I had wanted to carve a bird for awhile to add to my collection so I tackled it today. I think it turned out pretty well. The frame is stamped with a couple of stamps I had previously done. I forgot to include my stamp in this picture but I'll put it in the WT618 thread so you can see what it looks like. TFL!

Polly your bird turned out amazing! I love that you added other stamps you have carved to your card too they frame your darling bird wonderfully. I so want to try carving a stamp as it looks like such fun.

Polly, you knocked my socks off with your marvelous bird! I'm so impressed with your stamp carving. I'd planned to carve one myself, but have been down with the creeping crud. You've got me hooked now. Thanks for treating us to your marvelous card and playing in my challenge. Love that bird!

Oh wow, Polly, you were way more ambitious than I was. I thought the leaves were your carving till I read on. That bird is just adorable! He looks all urged up against the cold. You really rocked this.

P.s. thanks for the photos in the thread. I'm glad I didn't waste time looking for my lino cutters, I certainly never had that good a collection and I'm sure this is a case where good tools make a difference. What a lovely addition to your stamps, that little birdy.
