I'm tagging this for Ky's MIX challenge as I used both pencils and inks (sponged sky, direct to paper for the birthday sign) and my pig's head is on a wobble...
This is for my dad's birthday. I have to admit that 95% of me knows it's a total waste of time making cards for him - he just leaves them in the envelope and he's been like that for years, not just recently!! - but I'm hoping that because he knows this has his age on it, he'll look at it from time to time to help him remember!! He used to always know his age went along with the year, but in the last year he's stopped being able to remember that.
Stamped the herd on white card and coloured with pencils, then sponged in the sky. The bull and pig both have popped-up heads, the bull just on foam tape, the pig on a wobble. The goat has google eyes.
I used scraps of paper and Banner Blast to add my dad's age (the numbers are from an old Verve calendar set), and then just added a little sign with the birthday sentiment.
I usually punch a tiny circle (1/16" punch) at the edge of the card where the twine runs over to the back, I find this makes a neater finish.

How sweet of you to still make your Dad cards even though you know he
doesn't open them. It's hard to deal with aging parents. Your darling card brought a big smile to my face.

This is too much fun, Sabrina. The Grey dp with the bright pink on the banner looks fantastic. I love the idea of the wobbly pigs head. And there is a chicken like the ones you have been watching with your dad. Hugs sweet friend.
