This is my sample for this week's WTUI challenge which you'll be able to find HERE, it's a fun one for starting the new year.
I stamped my LOTV image (I play the flute, so I had to get this one ;-)) on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and sponged, then matted it on black with a white dotted border. The white base is scored, and I added rather more flowers than I meant too...it started out with just five but my garden grew...DH, surprisingly, likes it as it is even though he says it's indisputably girlie.
old = Prima flowers, about ten years old
New = LOTV stamp, latest release in December
Borrowed - Linda's scoring, Faith's (Markie's Mom) dotted white borders
Blue - flowers, butterflies, bow on the mouse's tail.

Oh my gosh, how fabulous is this!! The layout is brilliant, I love how the image panel is offset, gorgeous colouring too. The big, bright garden is a real showstopper. Can you tell how much I love this Sabrina.

Love the lush flower garden you have created, Sabrina. We are awaiting a snow storm...so this "breath of spring" is most welcome. Darling image...our daughter played the flute(nice and portable during her school years.....easier than lugging around a cello.) : )

Such a wonderful picture of this totally adorable card. You play the flute...how awesome is that. I was the brass player, mostly trombone, and some tuba and baritone...havent touched my trombone for years...wonder if my slide will even still move...hmm...LOVE playing music though...it is so fun isn't it? Gorgeous flowery field for this cute little musician, so cheery and spring in this wintery time of ours...delightful...TFs..:0)

Beautiful, Sabrina. I sure had a lot of old flowers I could have used. Your garden of flowers is just so lovely and your scoring looks so pretty. Darling image and one I know is dear to your heart.

Such a cute little mouse sitting on those mushrooms. Your colors are fabulous and how clever to borrow others' styles for your something borrowed. I love it!
