Masked the moon with a circle die cut. Also used a mask to separate the two color sections. Then I removed the masks and used the negative of the circle to sponge in color for the moon. I stamped the goose and wheat grass and the sentiment. Added a Sahara sand strip to separate the color blocks and covered the bottom of the moon with the sentiment strip.

This is really fantastic Pat! I love how you masked and sponged this moon that showcases your image so beautifully. I also love that you masked and sponged the background areas of this card too. Very nice indeed! ~Karen.

Pat thank you so much for the lovely comments you left on my card, especially as it lead me back to your terrific gallery where I saw this gem. Sheesh good thing there are not grammar police at SCS. I love everything about this. I wish you a happy, inky new year.

Fabulous! Love what you did with the sketch and how you masked the circle and made it into a moon. Great job on both challenges. Love your creativity with the stamping going past the circle edge. Wonderful birthday card! TFS

Great masking and sponging, Pat. Those colours look lovely with the kraft, and I really like the addition of the little narrow kraft strip and sentiment banner.

Pat, you do such perfect sponging that it gives your card a wonderful atmospheric feeling. It is a lovely image to begin with, but you add so much to it with the moon.
