After a busy week, I finally had some time for Kia's CAS challenge for a thank you card to my sister & BIL for hosting our family Christmas celebration.
My sis loves to decorate & this year was extra special as her 7 month old great grand daughter, was in awe of all the lights, sparkle & decorations.
The embossed CS has graduated coloring as seen through the cutout hearts.
The fun DP reflects thank you in different languages and fonts.
The vellum heart was first stamped with the foam heart in pink pigment ink. Little did I know that pigment ink takes forever to dry on vellum!! I tried to use my heat tool, but didnt want the vellum to warp; so I let it air dry for a full day. Lesson learned.
I fussy cut the vellum heart, stamped the sentiment and punched holes for the cording.
The 3 heart cutouts represents her 2grandchildten & great grand daughter.
She does so much for her family and want her to know how much I appreciate her.
Thanks for looking!

You little dare devil - pigment ink and vellum. I once set fire to a pigment ink and vellum card using a heat gun, I digress - Jeannie this is fabulous and such a lovely way to thank your family. Happy new year my friend.
