For this week's WTUI challenge, the last of 2016. You'll be able to find it HERE once it's gone live.
I started out by making a piece of wrinkle free distress and I was trying to use only the embossing folder and not the matching stamp, but made a total mess of adding colour to the embossed part with a gelato. So I spritzed it and smooshed it round a bit and reckoned I'd use it for the base layer . It has a border added with a gold gel pen, I then added Crackle Accents over the border and a light dusting of glitter while the glaze was still wet.
For the frame, I used distress ink direct to paper, then stamped and embossed the fern and cut out the frame in the centre.
The sweet little panda image was stamped on a scrap of shimmer card and coloured with pencils, then layered behind the frame. I added a sentiment to finish the card off.

Don't you love it when an ooooops turns into something terrific. I love the background and all the other textured layers. Very cute image too! Your border is brilliant - as always!!! I love this to bits Sabrina.

Beautiful panda card! I love the story of how it kind of haphazardly came together. Frankly, it has so much texture and interest. Fantastic idea to stamp the pandas on shimmer paper!

A charming Asian-inspired card, Sabrina. You are so adept at incorporating varied and interesting techniques in one card. Love the bg framing on this one.
