Hi, everyone! My card today was created for the Clean and Simple 'Thank You' Challenge plus the Technique Lover's 'Festive Paper Lanterns' Challenge. I dug into my dusty Stampin Up sets and found 'Too Terrific Tags' which had the perfect stamp....oriental flowers with a thank you sentiment....score! The tag was stamped onto scratch paper twice and two different masks were cut...one to mask everything but the sentiment and one to mask off the border and sentiment so that only the flowers would stamp. I used an ivory shade of vellum, cut an oval with the ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, stamped the flowers all over, colored them with markers, added score lines (which the camera did not pick up), then added to small strips of gold metallic cardstock and gold cord. The designer paper is Bo Bunny; the frame was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Squares Dies. Some yellow gems were added to coordinate with the gold. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

I can see the score lines, and your lantern is very pretty, I don't know which ink to use on vellum...yours is really nice colored, and your background is beautiful too

This turned out beautifully, Angella! I peeped on my phone over our very late lunch, but had to wait till I was at my desk to leave a proper comment. The cream coloured vellum is perfect, and the combination of paper and stamps - they could have been made for each other! What a lovely soft Spring feel with all the greens, too. Thanks for playing along today.
