For the inside of my card, I created a blank canvas in Photoshop that was 3.75x11", the size of my accordion-fold "booklet" panel. After I placed alignment guides where the score lines would be, I positioned & sized the ornaments onto the canvas. I used a greeting I also created in Photoshop, placing it in the third section. Finally, I printed everything out onto a piece of 140 lb. watercolor paper. I went ahead & scored the panel, just to make sure everything was really placed correctly before I went to the trouble of coloring. (Everything was!) I colored the ornaments with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencil leads and apply it to the paper. When that had dried, I inked around the edges of each panel with Tumbled Glass on a fingertip sponge dauber, masking adjacent panels as I went. I just wanted to add a little something something, like a glow effect. I added "hangers" to the ornaments on either end with a gold gel pen. Finally, I put everything together as per the tutorial instructions. My mom was super-impressed, so hopefully our friends who get this card will be, too! I am really pleased with how this card came out, especially since I didn't have to redo any steps!
