Two sleeps to go...how exciting or how exhausting LOL. This is for Robin's fun 'Free For All" challenge.
In the days leading up to Christmas I always find myself cleaning out cupboards in search of the bowls and plates that only see the light of day during Christmas. While I am doing this, I always find something that I lost.
That little story is the inspiration for my card, let's face it, Rudolph only needs his red nose on Christmas Eve. Thankfully Henrietta found it!!
I have a big stash of the grey backgrounds I have been doing lately with black Dylusions Ink Spray and ironing spray starch. This piece was a bit bald looking so I smacked a blue distress ink pad onto al foil, squirted on water, then dunked the panel in it.
This card is a real Splitcoastie community effort. The dies are RAK's from Robin and Helen, the white gel pen from Jody and Henrietta looks good thanks to a tip by Carla - use a fine foam brush and black distress ink to fill in her light bits.
Thank you all for another wonderful year. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Stay safe and keep warm / cool, the forecast for Christmas Day here is 38C / 100F.

I just love your black and white backgrounds, and the addition of blue on this one makes it look so frosty...Henrietta needs a winter coat. What a terrific story with Heneritra finding Rudolph's nose....the bright red bling is perfect. This is such a fantastic winter scene. I would never guess it was so hot there. Have a very happy holiday, and I hope Santa brings you everything you want.

You are so creative! I love the mix of a fairy with Rudolph. Such a beautiful card with every one of your details. I really like the snow on the branches, the thin black frame and the dots of glitter for the snow. So pretty!!!

MS.Susie, this is Fairy awesome. I love the silhouette images and the black against the beautiful blue just draws the eyes to the pop of red. Masterfully done my dear. I love it.

Your story of the finding of Rudolph's red nose is so sweet and fun, Susie, just like the card. The single tiny pop of red in all the winter colours is totally fab.
Sorry that your card hasn't arrived yet. I'm puzzled because apparently Xanthi got her birthday card before they left to come here, but the family Christmas card posted the same day hadn't arrived. The vagaries of Christmas post!!

Oh Susie! The beauty of your fairy with her delicate wings is so sweet along with Rudolph & baby penguin. The pop of red amongst the shimmering snowflakes & bg sets the mood of magical wonder & awe!
A beautiful masterpiece indeed!!
Merry Christmas!

Gorgeous! I love that the fairy is giving Rudolph his nose. The movie makers need to go back and retell the story with a fairy - makes way more sense how he got a red nose! Love that this was made with special gifts and advice as well. Lovely as always. Merry Christmas my sweet friend. Hugz
