Hi all,
I switched it up a bit but plan to do another with a slant later. Just had this idea and had to go with it. I stamped and embossed my roses on white, colored then drew a line and cut partly with a rotary type cutter and partly by hand to get my rose border. I cut slits in the sides to slide my ribbon through and there you have it. I stamped the sentiment, cut and lined with gold then popped up the rest of the die set for framing.
My bg paper is a piece I've had for probably 10 years or more, finally took it out of my stash to use, yay me! Heehee!
The stamps are by Blue Knight (Lynn Anderson here on SCS).
Thanks for looking!

Your cutting amazes me, Robin! Wow on the cutting of those roses, much more than I would be willing to tackle! I've tried the rotary cutter but it sure didn't cut paper as well. This is extraordinary- so elegant. I love the way you frame your verses. Just gorgeous!
