 | | This is the simple version of my Dragonfly Dreams card. The layout is based on some cards in our 1st quarter 2017 demo magazine (Stampin' Success).
The Pool Party strips are 4-1/4x1-1/4 inches. I laid my card base on grid paper (held it in place with some post-it tape) to make sure I had the strips evenly spaced. I started at the bottom leaving 3/4" then attached the top piece 3/4" from the top and then centered the middle piece between the two.
For the wings, I inked the "filler" stamp with Pool Party ink and then inked just the outer edges with Island Indigo (always go from light to dark). To blend the edges, I used the closest thing I could find...my finger...just lightly tapped. 
The small splatters were made with an aqua painter and ink from the lid of the Pool Party ink pad.
