Four challenges in one little gift card holder! Woo!
This started out for Kim's VSN challenge to make a card with a musical theme. I used the sheet music DP for the BG and found the stamp that said "Silent Night". From there I chose to hand letter "all is calm, all is bright" on the inside. I've recently taken up practicing my hand lettering with different markers. These are the first ones I tried--Crayola Super Tips. Very inexpensive, but by changing the angle of the marker you can get a pretty cool brush calligraphy look.
Kelly's technique challenge yesterday was to create a gift card holder and I needed one for my mailman. It was very fun and easy to make.
Maura's colors today were absolutely perfect for this gift card holder. I also think this fits perfectly with Kelli's CAS challenge of "Peace on Earth" from yesterday--if a gift card holder can be CAS? I think so, I kept it pretty simple.
I love it when a plan comes together ;-)

Very, very pretty. I love your gift card holder. I didn't have the time to play that challenge, but maybe I can get back to it one of these days. Thanks for sharing yours for me to adore.
