We're going over the river with Robin's challenge: a childhood Christmas memory. Well, I've mentioned before that my grandmother had a pink flocked Christmas tree every year when I was young. It was a major splurge when every other house had a red cedar...all skinny and droopy. My Mom's (that was her grandmother name) tree was lush...stiff branches all fluffy and huge. I always go right back there when I think of Christmas.
My pink Christmas tree was in the Parade newspaper magazine last year. I knew one day I would use it. Isn't it hip and mod? Not the way I would describe my grandmother, but hey...it's pink!
The shutter window is from StampInks Unlimited inked on watercolor paper. There are numerous hues of green. Pattern DP for the background and the wallpaper behind the pink tree.
My Sentiments Exactly 'Hoping your Holidays are bright was embossed in Detail Silver ep.
No matter the color of YoUR tree, may your holidays be bright.
Broken record, but check out the Holiday Movies and Music VSN...you know you're gonna love it!!!

I just love reading the stories and this one makes me want to bind these stories and publish them. Great card for your "Mom" and her memory. Parade magazine! I missed it.
