I had a case of cabin fever & so did my 2 dogs. Well our temperatures got to a 'balmy' 10 degrees today, so I leashed them up and walked the neighborhood for the first time in a couple of weeks.
I've always admired the 2 specimen trees in the front yard of a neighbor. Spring through fall the leaves are a deep green and the tree is perfectly symmetrical.
The tree keeps its leaves in winter and turn a rich mahogany color. I have yet to identify this lovely tree as my neighbor does not know the name.
I picked up a few fallen leaves and used 3 of them for this card. They have a leathery feel and are pliable. I just love their colors!!
Thanks for looking & warm hugs

Are they ever interesting ... beautiful to have through the winter, or I should say sure beats the mounds of snow in my neck of the woods. Beautiful card.

Gorgeous card!!! The colors on those leaves is Amazing...I was surprised to read that they were real. How blessed you are to have those trees in your neighborhood to enjoy all year round. Wow! And what a great way to spread the joy by making such a Beautiful card. I think I would walk past those trees every day just waiting for a few more leaves to fall.
